SHERIDAN COUNTY DEMOCRATIC MONTHLY MEETING
JUNE 3, 2008

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER; Carol LeResche called the meeting to order. minutes of prior meeting approved by Janet Maxwell and 2ed by Rebecca Colnar and there were no objections.

TREASURER REPORT: Carol LeResche reported $5700 in bank. Darlene Elliott made a motion that we donate $100 to the Sheridan Senior Center Endowment fund for the use of the building during the caucus. Fabian Wyatt 2ed that motion, and Carol LeResche reported that she would have to get a check and add into budget commitment.
BUDGET COMMITTEE: Need 3 more volunteers for Kendrick Days. Maybe office will be available for Democrats across the street from First Federal for around $500 a month. Need to decide how many months needed to rent and check on phone and internet hook-ups.Discussion on maybe have open for August primary, and have grand opening then with food and drink. Discussion on debate between Carter and Goodenough during Kendrick Days at Kendrick Park in Sheridan. Discussion on making a presence this summer at the Farmers Market held weekly in Sheridan to campaign, hand out banners, buttons and other material that can be gathered up, will do inventory and see what we have left and can obtain for these events. Discussion on precinct parties.Rebecca Colnar offered to do the press releases and Carol LeResche emails. Candidate Trauner and Carter will be asked to attend Dayton Days.

Senator Obama defeated Senator Clinton 61% to 38%. Democratic Chairman John Millin selected the states 6th superdelagate State Representive Patrick Googles, and Obama supporter and a member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe.
